Jimmy & Doris Loven serve as Youth Pastors of FPC Trumann. Bro. Jimmy also serves as Youth Secretary for Section Five. They have been married for seven years.

Connect Student Ministry: Today's young people need strong and lasting relationships. One of the key elements in their development as young Christians and young adults is a dynamic ministry that focuses on them. Connect is a youth ministry designed to enhance and equip the lives of young people as they face the challenges  of growing up in today's society. Through preaching, teaching and reaching Connect Students gain a sense of ownership - ownership of their own spiritual destiny and ownership in the Kingdom of God. It is our desire to raise up a generation that stays connected to truth, a generation that will empower the next.

If you are a young person or a parent looking for a dynamic group to be a part of give Connect Student Ministry a try. Students meet each Friday night at 7pm for worship. Throughout the year they attend other functions as well. These include Youth Rallies, Youth Camps, Holiday Youth Convention and North American Youth Convention. We also know that young people love to have fun. Several times a year Connect Students meet for a relaxed time of fellowship. Whether its for putt-putt, bowling, a bonfire or board games they always have a good time.
